Bobby Conn and Monica BouBou are excited to return to the
Avantgarde Festival for their first European performance since
2017! They will debut electronic based music from the new album
"Bobby's Place" coming in August 2025 on Tapete Records, featuring
modular synths, violin, guitar and vocals. Despite the dark shadow
of Fascism spreading across the USA and the world in general,
Bobby remains absurdly optimistic. He has been warning us about
the danger of complacency in the face of tyranny with a twinkle in
his eye and a catchy tune for 30 years; he's not stopping now!The
times get heavy, but Bobby is staying weird!

The duo Machineries is a collaboration between synthesizer
sorceresses Mustelide and Chikiss, who conjure their machines to
craft soundscapes of electro-baroque and dystopian fantasy
fiction. The concept took root after discovering the 1984 book
"The Creative Computer" abandoned on the streets of Berlin, which
is dedicated to proto-AI technologies, but in a more romantic and
human way. Touching visual canvases and poems composed by the
machines of that era inspired the artists to turn to the machines
of this time for new stories. A kind of synthesis of the past &
future, a scenario of cosmic chaos, krautrock passages, and
              web-disco revelations.

Saeko navigates these in between sounds using signposts from her
dreams, guided through the space-time distortion loops as if by a
vision. The true meaning of this vision might not be immediately
clear - but who minds, when the search for that meaning sounds
              this good?

Time suspended as shapes and forms escape. Lights fades with

What would our existence look like if sound was our primary
interface with reality? Imagine growing up in a culture that
doesn’t think visually but acoustically. How would you perceive
landscapes if you hadn't first learned to dissect them by looking?
You hear during the day and at night, you perceive things long
before you can see them, and while you can look away, you cannot
              stop hearing.

WaveRoom is a hyperspace in which the continent of Europe is
rendered as a phonogram. Space and time contract to such an extent
that the landmass fits into an attic. The 24 hours of a day
